Remediation of Soil, Groundwater, and Hazardous Waste Contamination
Evaluation of environmental remediation strategies is the heart of Epic’s Hazardous Waste Management Program. Remedial technologies associated with Hazardous Waste Management must be consistent with state and federal requirements, meet client objectives, and most importantly, be within the client’s economic feasibility.
Epic's environmental engineering professionals excel in the application of risk based corrective actions (RBCA). These corrective actions plans include risk assessments to determine the environmental risk of a specific pollutant or contaminant. Where subsurface impact is present, contaminant Fate and Transport Modeling can be used to establish the associated health risks, thereby allowing us to engineer the most prudent corrective action plan (CAP).
When a site requires active soil pollution control or groundwater pollution remediation, Epic will assist you with all aspects of the environmental pollution remediation involved, including system design, construction, collection, cleanup, monitoring, and basic operation & maintenance. Epic professionals have extensive experience in the following techniques: pump-and-treat, two-phase extraction systems, dual phase extraction systems, soil vapor extraction, air sparging, bio-remediation, solidification, and hazardous waste management.
Each soil control and groundwater contamination project is site and client specific and can vary from project to project. A more detailed scope of work will be prepared after review and discussion regarding site-specific needs. For more information on soil control and groundwater remediation, contact:
